    Job Description:

    This person will work with the Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing team to develop and implement key performance indicators and reporting for all business functions. Position will perform analysis, design, programming and testing of enterprise data used for reporting and visualization. Looking for an individual who can contribute immediately to develop multi-tenant reporting and visualization environment and is interested in implementing business performance measurements.

    Key Responsibilities / Performance Requirements:

    • Create and maintain ETL and reporting processes for the enterprise data warehouse using cutting edge technology
    • Develop and implement Business Intelligence strategies and processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
    • Translate user requirements for reporting and analysis into dashboard and visualization deliverables
    • Work with business owners to implement business intelligence solutions
    • Support operation and expansion of reporting environment
    • Monitor performance and reliability of Reporting processes and environment
    • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

    Required Skills:

    • Expert understanding of ANSI SQL
    • Experience with ETL Tools
    • Experience with Columnar, MPP Analytical Cloud-based Databases
    • Must be very self-motivated
    • Ability to meet deadlines with high attention to detail
    • Must want to work with and contribute to an awesome team
    • Ability to create and complete work with a precise detail
    • Analytical and root cause analysis skills to provide consistent data integrity

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with SQL Server Integration Services
    • Python Experience
    • Experience with enterprise scale Tableau Server environment
    • Experience building dashboards and visualizations using Tableau Developer
    • Experience building out multi-tenant Tableau sites
    • Experience with enterprise scale Business Intelligence Reporting Methodologies
    • Deep knowledge of visualization best practices

    Right Candidate will develop/refine skills in:

    • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
    • Enterprise Data Warehouse Design using Kimball Methodologies
    • Snowflake Database
    • Type 1, 2 and 6 slowly changing dimensions
    • Converting business KPI needs into technical solutions

    We're in need of an Oracle Developer (PL/SQL). This is a new and prominent position that will help design our road map as we continue our growth trajectory. This will be a hybrid hands on and leadership position that is responsible to develop, test, and deploy database solutions as required to meet our corporate objectives and deadlines.


    • Collaborate and work with software engineers, quality assurance, infrastructure engineers, database engineers, business analysts and project managers to understand business needs.  
    • Responsible to help develop next generation software products for customer facing systems.
    • Provide timely response and resolutions for emergency issues as they arise.
    • Team player mentality, proactive and self- motivated.


    • 5 years experience with Oracle as a developer. 
    • Experience writing stored procedures, packages and functions using PL/SQL.
    • Ability to create and tune complex SQL statements.
    • Experience using TOAD, PL/SQL Developer, etc.
    • Must also be capable of working independently with a minimum amount of supervision.
    • Good work ethic and ability to work well under pressure

    The Utah Oracle Users Group is a not-for-profit group that conducts training on Oracle products for our members. Run by a volunteer board, UTOUG puts on one large conference each year, with smaller training sessions through out the remaining months.

    The bookkeeping position is a paid part-time position under the direction of the UTOUG Treasurer to help track income and expenses from annual membership dues and conferences/events. The expected time involvement is averages 10-15 hours per month, but can vary one time of year and number of events.

    1. Monitor the PayPal account and enter receipt of funds.
    2. Verify expense receipts and make reimbursements to board members or payments to vendors.
    3. Record all expenditures.
    4. Create manual checks as requested by the board.
    5. Review monthly profit and loss statements to check for accuracy.
    6. Balance the monthly bank statement.
    7. Check PO Box for any correspondence, at least twice a month.
    8. Prepare annual profit and loss statements for the CPA to do the tax filings.
    9. Other related assistance as requested by the board.


    1. 3-4 years of bookkeeping experience
    2. Knowledge of Quickbooks Online is preferred
    3. Excellent written and oral communication skills
    4. Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
    5. High degree of professionalism
    6. Highly self-motivated and directed
