Come learn how to enhance the look and feel your APEX applications by updating current themes or making custom themes!  We’ll start with the basics of how themes and templates are managed and used in APEX applications, then expand to how to store and link custom CSS/JavaScript files in your own templates.  We’ll show some simple ways to get you started into troubleshooting and developing CSS/JavaScript and show plenty of examples of enhancements we’ve made and just how easy it is!

Earl Lewis is a Senior Project Manager at the University of Utah.  He has worked with Oracle Application Express since HTMLDB 1.5.  As an Oracle Application Express Developer Certified expert, he has presented on APEX at past conference events for UTOUG as well as many SIG events.


Jonathon Taylor comes from an Oracle Certified Professional DBA background.  He has been working with APEX applications at the LDS Church since 2010 with APEX 3.0.  He has presented on APEX topics such as Web Services, Dynamic Actions, Plugins at UTOUG and IOUG events.  As an APEX enthusiast, he enjoys creating quick, functional web 2.0 apps.
