Ever since Oracle Cloud and the change to Oracle’s versioning cadence (first in Cloud, then on OnPrem, etc.), many new features have been introduced at an alarming pace. Also, several key features have been deprecated. Are you being stretched to keep up with all these changes? If so, this presentation will be a quick start to help you catch up on what you need to know. Both DBAs and Developers will learn new optimizer features, several new advisors to help with tuning and statistics gathering strategies. Plus, with the upcoming 19c release, where machine learning continuously monitors workloads and identifies potential new SQL plans and indexes, we might truly be entering the magical world of make-believe Or Not! Please attend and find out!
