Member Benefits

Training

Training opportunities are available to UTOUG members throughout the year. Each Spring and Fall UTOUG sponsors training events where respected professionals throughout the Oracle world are invited in to speak and train our membership.

Special Interest Groups (SIGs)

UTOUG members have free access to many special interest groups that meet periodically throughout the year. SIG members also exchange information here on the UTOUG website.

SIGs are available for Oracle Application Express, Oracle Business Intelligence, Oracle DBAs, Oracle development tools and other Oracle technologies.

Online Resources

Downloads of presentations from past training and SIG events are made available here on the UTOUG website. If you weren't able to make it to an event make sure to check in the Resource area of the website for downloadable content.

Also check in to the UTOUG forums to engage in dialogue with other UTOUG members on topics of your choice. If you want to just browse for a solution to a problem or help out other UTOUG members that are seeking help take a look at the UTOUG forums.

Networking Opportunities

UTOUG members have opportunities to network with each other as well as respected professionals and speakers in the Oracle community.

Networking opportunities are available through our training events, at SIG events, here on the website as well as the most popular social networking sites on the internet.

Volunteering

Volunteering with UTOUG can be one of the most satisfying experiences you can have with a professional organization. Members can volunteer for board or other organizational positions, as leaders of SIGs, or helping out with our semi-annual training events. If you wanted to get involved with UTOUG at a little deeper level, attend our bi-monhtly volunteers planning meeting.

We meet during lunchtime on the first Thursday of each odd-numbered month. UTOUG is a volunteer organization, powered by volunteers.

Also, in the near future, we are launching a new feature: UTOUG Forums.  The idea is  to allow UTOUG members to engage in dialogue with other UTOUG members on topics of their choice. Whether you want to browse for a solution to a problem or to help out other UTOUG members that are seeking, this will be the place to go!
