DBA SIG: Performance Tuning
There are lots of tuning options for an Oracle database and lots of different ways to report tuning information. There¿s the AWR repository, ADDM snapshots/reports, ASH reports, Enterprise Manager graphs, baselines, etc. We will be talking about these tools and more at this SIG. Come and learn more about performance and tuning.

Scott Black is has 11 years of experience as a DBA including 5 years as an Oracle DBA. He has worked extensively with RAC, Grid Control, RMAN and SAN Storage. He is also well known as a great resource for database performance and tuning. He was a main contributor to the Quest Oracle Expert product. And he contributed to the Oracle Press RMAN 11g Backup and Recovery book.
